Anodizing: A process in which aluminum and its alloys form an oxide film on aluminum products (anode) under the action of external current under the corresponding electrolyte and specific process conditions. Anodizing usually refers to sulfuric acid anodizing unless otherwise specified.
In order to overcome the defects of aluminum alloy surface hardness, wear resistance, etc., expand the scope of application, and extend the service life, surface treatment technology has become an indispensable part of the use of aluminum alloys, and anodizing technology is the most widely used and successful. .

principle:
The so-called anodizing of aluminum is an electrolytic oxidation process. Generally speaking, aluminum or aluminum alloy is used as the anode, and a lead plate is used as the cathode. The aluminum and lead plates are placed together in an aqueous solution, which contains sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, Chromic acid, etc., are electrolyzed to form an oxide film on the surface of the aluminum and lead plates. Among these acids, the most widespread is anodization with sulfuric acid. Anodizing takes a long time, often dozens of minutes.
The thickness of the thin aluminum oxide layer formed on the surface is 5 to 30 microns, and the hard anodized film can reach 25 to 150 microns.
