Die casting is the abbreviation of pressure casting. It is a method of filling the die casting mold cavity with liquid or semi-liquid metal under high pressure and high speed, and then rapidly solidifying under pressure to obtain castings. The die casting mold used is called a die casting mold. Many automotive component manufacturers use die casting to produce many automotive parts. However, since the surface of the products produced by die casting molds is not very smooth and the precision is not as high as that of CNC machining, some automotive precision parts or medical equipment parts are produced by die casting molds and then processed with CNC turning or CNC milling to have high precision dimensions and remove the rough surface parts.
Die casting can produce materials such as: aluminum alloy parts, zinc alloy parts, magnesium aluminum alloy parts, alloy steel parts, etc.

Die casting molds can be used to produce: CNC machining rims/CNC machining wheels, automotive parts, parts of medical equipment, other mechanical parts, etc.
Die casting molds are also injection molds. They are similar to plastic injection molds in many aspects of processing, and the processing methods are basically the same, such as CNC processing, EDM, grinding, CNC lathe processing, etc. Therefore, "plastic moulding factory" can generally also make metal die casting molds.
